Aman Dhall is an Indian communications specialist, widely known for his role in building the insurtech brand, Policybazaar.com. The company has emerged as a go to digital platform for death, disease & disability products in India, and is currently the most valued insurtech entity in the world, after its recent listing on the Indian bourses.
In 2019, Exchange4Media recognized Aman among India’s most influential gamechanger in the corporate communications and PR field. He has been also identified as India’s best young talent from the field of marketing, advertising, public relations and media, in various 40 under 40 lists by media houses.
He carries 16+ years of experience in media, financial services, consumer internet & development sector, and has worked in editorial, communications & advocacy roles with influential brands such as the Times of India group, UNICEF, SEDA and Magic Bus India Foundation.
He identifies himself as a proud intrapreneur, prior to PolicyBazaar, he established and ran a not-for-profit venture in the sport & development space for three years. In 2020 after his 6-year stint at Policybazaar Aman founded CommsCredible, an integrated communications agency.
During his time as an entrepreneur, he co-managed & implemented a sport development project, ‘Khel Vikas’, in collaboration with award-winning rural development organisation, Gram Vikas in Odisha and parts of Andhra Pradesh. The project supported over 1,500 tribal children with opportunities to play a sport, and pursue sporting excellence.
In his initial career, he was a journalist, and worked in the leading publications of The Times of India Group for six years. He was Principal Correspondent at The Economic Times, India’s largest business daily, when he left journalism, editing the two personal finance pages in the Sunday edition, and writing news stories & features on BFSI space.
His vision is to create a legacy for the communications fraternity who have been transforming India’s narrative with their storytelling prowess.
Aman also co-hosts #CommsChat, a first-of-its-kind chat series on LinkedIn, and contributes regularly as a guest speaker/teacher/author at various industry events/education institutions/media publications. He also sits on the jury of several prestigious media, marketing & communication forums.
Aman authored the India chapter for the Global Publisher, Routledge in its Handbook of Physical Activity Policy and Practice across the world, released in December 2017. He strongly believes that India needs a ‘sport & physical activity’ culture among masses to truly become a healthy society.
